How Often Profiles Are Reviewed
All listings in Insurance Appraisal Directory are subject to ongoing review. Initial verification occurs at the time of submission, but profiles are not considered permanently approved. We periodically audit published listings to confirm that the information remains accurate and that the listed professional is still active and eligible.
Routine audits are conducted on an ongoing basis, with higher-priority reviews triggered by user reports, changes in the listed professional's credentials, or discrepancies identified by our team. When a profile is flagged — either internally or by a user — it is prioritized for review and may be temporarily hidden from the directory while we investigate.
Listed professionals are encouraged to keep their own profiles current. Profiles that appear inactive, contain outdated contact information, or no longer reflect the professional's actual services may be flagged for review. If a professional's license lapses, their certification expires, or they are no longer accepting assignments, that information should be updated promptly.
Professionals who have claimed their listing can update their information through the Manage Listing interface. Significant changes — such as adding new certifications or expanding service areas — may trigger a secondary review before the updated information is published.
We do not guarantee that all information on the directory is current at any given moment, but our review process is designed to catch and correct inaccuracies as quickly as possible.
